What is Root Canal Therapy?
Root Canal Therapy, also known as endodontic therapy, is the process of eliminating the bacteria from the root canal which is infected. This is done to save the tooth from further infection.
When someone undergoes the root canal, the infected pulp is removed, the inside part of the tooth is very carefully cleaned and disinfected which is finally filled.
Who can get Root Canal Therapy?
The pulp which is the soft tissue inside the root canal can get inflamed or infected. This can happen due to a variety of causes such as repeated dental procedures on the tooth, a crack in the tooth, or even if there is damage on the face.
